This Happens Every Spring and Fall

Sometimes, the simplest moments hold the most powerful insights. A visit to my chiropractor turned into a reflection on the seasons of business — and a reminder that not all growth looks like blooming.
I was at my chiropractor’s the other day when I saw these stunning rainbows on the floor. And what she said about them ignited a whole new way of thinking about business.
I visited my chiropractor, Dr. Z, and noticed this light casting rainbows through crystals onto the floor. It was really gorgeous. It captured my attention.
I mentioned it to her, and she said they appear every spring and every fall — when the light is just right.
And then she added, “But I prefer the spring… when things are growing, not dying.”
That sparked my curiosity. It got me thinking.
As conscious entrepreneurs, we often see our quiet seasons as something bad — like our business is dying.
But what if it’s just resting? Regrouping? Preparing?
Growth isn’t only about blooming. It’s also about composting, pausing, and letting things settle before they rise again.
So if you are in a season where things feel slow — like nothing is blooming — don’t panic.
Don’t throw it all out.
Tune in. Tweak. Align… until you find just the right approach.
